The Kingdom Indoor Rowing Championship returns for its second edition with an expanded format taking place simultaneously in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Qatif.

This multi-city approach brings the competition closer to participants across the Kingdom and marks another step in the event’s rapid growth.

After the strong engagement and wide participation seen last year, the 2025 edition welcomes men, women, and people with disabilities to compete across clearly defined age and distance categories. These include U15 (4 minutes), U17 (6 minutes), U19 (2000 metres), U23 (2000 metres), Senior (2000 metres), and Sirs divisions for ages 30–39, 40–49, and 50+ (2000 metres).

All races are held on Concept2 rowing machines inside specialised indoor venues, providing consistent conditions for peak performance. The championship features both individual and team events, supported by prize money that encourages competitive spirit and motivates athletes at every level.
