SoapBox Saudi is a gravity-powered racing event where teams compete using custom-built, non-motorized soapbox cars. Teams are judged on race performance, creativity, and engineering safety in a fun, competitive, and family-friendly environment.

Плата взимается за команду (4-5 человек), а не за отдельного человека.
Команды отвечают за проектирование и сборку своих автомобилей, используя собственные инструменты. Инструменты для сборки на месте не предоставляются.

Каждая команда получит 10 бесплатных билетов для болельщиков, чтобы пригласить своих друзей и родственников.

Денежные призы на сумму 100 000 SAR
Команды соревнуются за общий призовой фонд в размере 100 000 SAR
, включая: 50 000 SAR за первое место

Eligibility & Application

Registration is open to teams only.
Each team must consist of 4 to 5 members.
All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
All team applications are subject to review and approval by the Organizer.
Teams will be notified of the application outcome via the registered email address.

Fees & Payment

Registration fees are as follows:
1000 SAR for regular teams
500 SAR for student teams (valid proof is required)

If a team application is rejected, a full refund will be issued.
Once an application is approved, fees become final and non-refundable.

Car Requirements

Maximum length: 250 cm
Maximum width: 120 cm
Maximum height (including driver): 150 cm
Maximum weight (excluding driver): 80 kg
Allowed drivers: One driver only

Cars must be 100% non-motorized and powered by gravity only.

Safety & Inspection

Safety is a top priority.
Certified helmets are mandatory.
All cars are subject to technical and safety inspections.
The Organizer may disqualify any car that fails to meet safety requirements.

Schedule & Compliance

Teams must comply with inspection, training, and race schedules.
Delays or violations may result in disqualification.
No modifications are allowed after final inspection without written approval from the Organizer.

Scoring & Winning

Teams will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Race performance: 40%
Design and creativity: 40%
Engineering and safety: 20%

Judges’ decisions are final and not subject to appeal.

Media, Liability & Rights

Participants consent to photography and media use for promotional purposes without compensation.
Participation is at the team’s own risk. The Organizer bears no liability arising from non-compliance with the rules.

Organizer Rights & Acceptance

The Organizer reserves the right to interpret or amend these terms and to disqualify teams for safety or operational reasons.
By completing registration, teams confirm full acceptance of all terms and conditions.
